(VOVworld)- Syria will cooperate fully with UN inspectors charged with securing and destroying the country's chemical weapons stockpile. This was President Bashar Al Assad’s statement on Sunday as UN weapons experts are preparing to come back to Damascus for weapons inspections. President Assad told the Italian Rai News 24 TV channel that the Syrian government respects the resolution to eliminate chemical weapons.  The UN experts said they will hold talks with Damascus’ authorities on Tuesday and insisted there is no reason to doubt information provided by the Syrian government.
