Top legislator urges Can Tho to become prosperous, smart city
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has praised Can Tho city's encouraging socio-economic development over the past 50 years, especially in the more than 20 years since it became a centrally-run city.

Addressing a ceremony celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification in Can Tho City on Saturday, Chairman Man urged the city to fully tap its potential and advantages and create a breakthrough in organizational restructuring and growth.
He emphasized the need to develop the green economy, digital economy, and circular economy, aiming for Can Tho to soon become a prosperous, civilized, modern, and smart city.
