Trade surplus of agriculture, forestry, fishery products hit 11 billion USD

(VOVWORLD) -The export turnover of agriculture, forestry and fishery produces in the past seven  months reached nearly 39.7 billion USD, up 14.7% and the trade surplus of these items was 11.5 billion USD, up nearly 16% against last year.

The agricultural group led with an estimated export value of nearly 21.5 billion USD followed by forestry products earning 10.4 billion USD and aquatic products 6 billion USD.

Asia continued to be Vietnam's largest export market, accounting for 42.6% of the total value, followed by the American and European markets.

The export value to Europe increased by 43.1% over the same period. Vietnam’s three largest partners are the United States (accounting for 21% of the market share), followed by China and Japan.
