(VOVWORLD) - The leaders of the UK, France, and Germany on Friday issued a joint statement calling for an immediate end to the “humanitarian catastrophe” in the Gaza strip.

They demanded the immediate lifting of all restrictions on aid flows and full access for the UN and humanitarian NGOs to deliver essential assistance and prevent famine.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the civilian population’s most basic needs, clean water and food, must be met without delay.
