According to media reports, the Israeli military, which has resumed strikes in the Gaza Strip, has denied attacking the compound.
On Tuesday, Israeli carried out large-scale airstrikes on multiple Hamas targets in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he ordered strikes because Hamas had rejected proposals to secure a ceasefire extension and continue releasing hostages.
At least 970 Gazans have been killed in the past few days, according to Gaza's health ministry. The international community has voiced its oppositions against the attack.
