At a recent reception for the media, UNDP Resident Representative Ramla Al Khalidi said the UNDP is assisting Vietnam in poverty reduction, human resource development, climate change adaptation, sustainable use of clean and renewable energy, sustainable management of natural resources, among other issues.

She noted that  energy transition alone requires unprecedented investment, forcing all stakeholders from the government, businesses, the community to individual households to rearrange priorities and even sacrifice their own interest.

Just Energy Transition Partnership is an agreement between developed and developing countries in which the former provides funding for the latter to transition to green energy.
