More than 2,400 officials, teachers, and students of the Vietnam National University will cast their ballots at four polling stations.
Dinh Van Huong, Head of the university’s Department of Politics and Student Affairs, said that COVID-19 prevention is an important task so all the voters are required to strictly follow the government’s guidelines: wearing face masks, disinfecting, distancing, avoiding gatherings, completing health declarations, and measuring body temperature. He said health workers are sent to polling stations to instruct the voters and keep everything safe.
Nguyen Thanh Chuong, Vice President of the University of Transport and Communications, said the university held activities to help students understand the election regulations as more than 180 students will cast their ballots on Sunday. He said, "We have sent documents, especially the Election Law, to help students understand the election so they can exercise their right to vote."
