Speaking in Delaware, Biden said the people of the US have spoken and delivered a clear victory, a convincing victory for the US. He pledged to unite the US during his tenure. Biden promised to spare no effort, none, or any commitment to turn around the COVID-19 pandemic and build a prosperous country. On Monday, he will name a group of leading scientists and experts as transition advisers to help take the Biden-Harris covid plan and convert it into an action blueprint that will start on January the 20th, 2021.

For all those who voted for President Trump, he said he understands the disappointment and promised to govern as an American president. He urged Democrats and Republicans to cooperate with one another. He said: “I believe that this is part of the mandate given to us from the American people. They want us to cooperate in their interest. And that’s the choice I’ll make. And I’ll call on Congress, Democrats and Republicans alike, to make that choice with me.”

In his victory speech, Biden highlighted the tasks of coping with climate change and rooting out racism in the US.

Hundres of thousands of New Yorkers, the stronghold of the Democratic, went down street to celebate Biden’s victory after media channels confirmed he was elected the 46th President of the US.

Joe Biden or Joseph Robinette Biden Jr (born November 20, 1942) is raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and New Castle County, Delaware, Biden studied at the University of Delaware before earning his law degree from Syracuse University in 1968.
