Vu Hoai Bac, Head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, urged the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to expedite the completion of the festival’s facilities and finalize the agenda for press meetings, seminars, and presentations.
The 2025 UN Day of Vesak, to be held in Vietnam from May 6 to 8 this year, will provide an opportunity for monks, nuns, and Buddhists from around the world to connect. This event will also offer international guests a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s land, people, and Buddhist traditions.
During the meeting, participants discussed key details, including the list of heads of state expected to attend and the topics for discussion.
