Addressing yesterday’s session, Minh voiced Vietnam’s support for the conference’s working agenda and vowed to make a greater contribution to the success of the event. Minh confirmed Vietnam’s awareness of the challenges the conference faces in reaffirming its role and trust, as well as sharing common worries and interests of other member countries. He expressed his hope that the conference will soon endorse its 2013 working agenda, saying the approval of a comprehensive and equal working agenda is a sole solution to the current deadlock.

Minister Minh also had sideline meetings with Monaco Foreign Minister Jose Badia, Croatia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Josko Klisovic, and Ruanda’s Minister of Justic Tharcisse Karugarama to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding.
