Vietnam, Australia strengthen multi-faceted relations

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Pham Hung Tam received Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn at the Vietnam House in Canberra on Monday.

Ambassador Tam introduced the Governor-General to Vietnam’s culture, history, and people, as well as major socio-economic development policies. The Ambassador expressed Vietnam's desire to continuously develop economic, trade, investment, education, training, science and technology, tourism and people-to-people exchange cooperation with Australia.
Governor-General Mostyn voiced her support for the increased exchange of delegations at all levels, and suggested more exchange of experiences on gender equality, people-to-people exchanges, cultural and tourism cooperation. She stressed the importance of educational cooperation in the Vietnam-Australia relationship, adding that it helps boost connections and understanding between the two peoples.
