The statement was made by Vietnam’s National Assembly Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son as part of the NA delegation’s working session with the Belarusian NA’s House of Representatives Chairman V. Andreichenko and Deputy Chairman Guminski on Sunday. The two sides agreed to further their cooperation by focusing more on coordination among their committees and speeding up the implementation of signed agreements. Both sides also promised to help Vietnam and the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan conclude negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement, and to continue promoting close coordination at multilateral forums such as the International Parliamentary Union and the United Nations.
