Vietnam, Cambodia stress stronger ties
(VOVWORLD) - Samdech Techo Hun Sen praised Party General Secretary To Lam’s State visit to Cambodia following the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, affirming that Cambodia always attaches great importance to and seeks to strengthen good neighborliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive, sustainable cooperation between the two countries.

He made the remarks during a meeting with the Vietnamese Party leader in Phnom Penh on Friday.
General Secretary To Lam reaffirmed Vietnam’s steadfast commitment to rapid and sustainable development, independence and self-reliance, closely linked with extensive, deep, and effective international integration. He also expressed Vietnam’s desire to further deepen relations with Cambodia.
The same day, the Party leader visited Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk at the Royal Palace.
Earlier, General Secretary Lam and Cambodian People’s Party President Hun Sen witnessed the signing of cooperation documents between ministries, sectors, and localities of Vietnam and Cambodia.
