Vietnam-China auxiliary border gate reopened to facilitate trade
(VOVWORLD) - Customs clearance through the Mong Cai International Border Gate in Quang Ninh province resumed on Friday amid tightened control of activities at border crossings to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

Quang Ninh and China’s Guangxi provinces had suspended customs clearance for a week due to the coronavirus. The two sides agreed to prioritize feedstock for production and medical equipment and materials.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc ordered import-export activities take place as usual in the border area concurrent with measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
