Vietnam Fatherland Front raises 189 million USD for poor people during Tet
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front has raised funds, alongside government support, to provide nearly 7.9 million gift packages worth 189 million USD to poor and near-poor households, and those in particularly difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year (Tet).

In the spirit of “Leaving no one behind,” the Front and its member organizations have worked together to support disadvantaged groups.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has distributed gifts to more than 28,000 trade union members and workers.
The Vietnam Red Cross has launched the 2025 “Humane Tet” campaign, raising funds for more than 560,000 gift packages.
The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army has directed the entire army to organize more than 350 Tet programs for the people.
The Vietnam Farmers' Union has also called for donations from businesses, organizations and individuals to contribute to the Tet celebration, delivering over 193,000 gift packages for poor farmers and struggling families.
