At the conference, participants reviewed the outcomes of cooperation between Vietnam and foreign NGOs during the 2019–2025 period. As of November 30, 2025, there were 379 foreign NGOs from 32 countries operating regularly in Vietnam, with total aid value from 2020 to 2024 reaching 1.14 billion USD.
A number of the organizations have contributed for more than five decades. The projects spanned across the country, focusing on healthcare, socio-economic development, addressing social issues, education and training, natural resources and environment, organizational capacity building, and judicial support.
Many new models have generated clear, measurable impacts and are now being replicated nationwide.
