Vietnam hosts global logistics’ largest event

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is hosting the FIATA World Congress 2025, the largest annual event of the global logistics industry, with the plenary session taking place on Wednesday in Hanoi under the theme “Green and Resilient Logistics.”

Over 1,000 delegates from 100 countries participated in the event hosted by the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), in cooperation with the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) and international partners.

The 5-day event from October 6-10 features a plenary session, an exhibition of over 120 booths, and B2B networking sessions on advanced technology platforms.

Key discussion topics include cross-border e-commerce, digital transformation and innovation for green logistics, flexible supply chain development, cold chain modernization, and global trade restructuring amid geopolitical shifts.

Dao Trong Khoa, President of the Vietnam Logistics Business Association, said: “Hosting this global congress is a major opportunity not only for the logistics sector but also Vietnam’s economy. It allows Vietnamese logistics enterprises to connect with global partners and learn from advanced business models and modern technologies, paving the way for logistics' green growth.”

On this occasion, the organizers presented the Young Logistics Talent Awards.

Vietnam’s logistics industry has an estimated market size of 70–80 billion USD annually and holds strong potential to become a new logistics hub in Southeast Asia.
