Minister Cuong proposed that a civil judicial assistance agreement be negotiated between the two ministries to protect Vietnamese and italian citizens and investors. Minister Orlando concurred and the two men pledged to assign their staff to negotiate a draft agreement. After the talks, a round-table discussion was held on the organisational and operational structure of the two countries judicial agencies and their experience in judicial reform and training. A Vietnamese delegation led by Minister Ha Hung Cuong is visiting Italy from July 8 to 11.
