The MoU was signed by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Nam Hải and Japanese Senior Vice Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Mitsuyoshi Yanagisawa. The MoU helps implement Vietnam’s Law on Chemicals, which will mitigate the negative effects of the chemical industry on human health and the environment. Under the deal, the two sides will share information, knowledge, experience, technology, and policies in chemical risk management and manpower training, and will hold annual dialogues.
