Vietnam, Laos boost cooperation
(VOVworld) - Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister of Laos Asang Laoly on Tuesday received a visiting delegation from the Vietnamese Government Office led by its deputy head Nguyen Quang Thang. At the meeting in Vientiane, both leaders expressed their hope that Vietnam and Laos will intensify experience exchanges, contributing to stronger cooperation between the two Governments and peoples.

The same day in Hanoi, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army received Head of the Engineering Department of the Lao People’s Army, Colonel Singsavat Phommasak. The two sides promised to step up delegation exchanges at all levels to learn each other’s experience in search, rescue, and disaster relief.
