(VOVworld) – The 8^th cross-border exchange between Vietnam and Laos is taking place in Laos’s Khammounan province.

Vietnamese and Laos representatives offered incense at the memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh.

The event is co-organized by the Vietnamese Party Central Committee’s External Relations Commission and the External Relations Commission of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party. It aims to promote exchanges of information and experience, as well as culture and sports activities to strengthen friendship and solidarity between Khammounan and Vietnam’s central Nghe An province.

Marking the occasion, representatives of the two Commissions offered incense at the memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh and another memorial site commemorating Party General Secretary and President Kaysone Phomvihane in Khammouan province.
