During talks after the welcoming ceremony, the two presidents noted that despite recent progress, multifaceted cooperation remains modest and has not matched the two countries’ potential. They agreed to increase political relations through the exchange of visits and people-to-people diplomacy in order to promote mutual understanding. They agreed to continue the implementation of trilateral and bilateral agricultural cooperative projects and called for more individual involvement in this area. They agreed to guide the relevant ministries and sectors to work out specific programs to boost cooperation in investment, trade, education and training, healthcare, tourism, and air transport.
