Vietnam posts 8.02% GDP growth in 2025
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam's GDP growth in 2025 is quite strong, reaching 8.02%, slightly lower than the 2022 growth rate during the 2011-2025 period, the General Statistics Office told reporters on Monday.

The Office said GDP in the fourth quarter of 2025 grew 8.46%, the highest growth rate for the fourth quarter in the period 2011-2025, maintaining the trend of each subsequent quarter being higher than the previous one. Q1 saw a growth of 7.05%, Q2 8.16%, and Q3 8.25%.
Vietnam's growth exceeding 8% is a bright spot amidst a volatile global economy in the wake of trade tensions and the US's tariff policies.
