Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday signed into law recognizing Russia’s sovereignty over four Ukrainian regions: the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), Kherson region and Zaporizhzhia region. The annexations were declared after pro-Russia referenda in late September.
