(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam said Vietnam treasures its traditional friendship with Belarus and wants to strengthen cooperation in all fields, adding that Vietnam will never forget the strong support and righteous help Belarus provided.

Mr. Lam was speaking at a meeting in Minsk on Sunday with the Belarusian Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the Belarus-Vietnam Friendship Association, and experts who supported Vietnam in its past struggles.
“The two organizations should continue to organize exchange activities between people from all walks of life – scientists, businessmen and the younger generation –helping them understand and connect with each other and fostering friendship between Vietnam and Belarus. They should act as a bridge for universities, professional organizations, and businesses of the two countries to build cooperative relations in education, training, culture, trade, and investment."
