Vietnamese contestants win top prize at international music competition in Japan

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese contestants have won one First Prize and one Special Prize, along with one Third Prize and one Consolation Prize in the vocal category at the 28th Kyushu Music Competition in Japan.

Taking place from March 21 to 28, the competition aimed to discover and honor musical talents worldwide, with categories in instrumental and vocal performance.

This year, Vietnam sent 10 contestants from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, ranging from secondary school to postgraduate levels, competing in vocal and piano categories, including classical and film music.
