Viettel showcases 5G, AI ecosystem at world’s largest mobile event
(VOVWORLD) - The Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) is showcasing its 5G and artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, remaining the only Vietnamese representative at the world’s largest mobile industry event.

Taking place from Monday to Thursday in Barcelona, Spain, MWC 2026 brings together giant tech firms and innovators from more than 200 countries and territories. Viettel presents 24 products and services fully researched, developed and mastered by the group across all network layers, from infrastructure to advanced applications.
It is set to sign cooperation agreements with global partners including Qualcomm on 5G Advanced, 6G and agentic AI, while continuing collaboration with leading technology corporations in telecommunications, AI and cybersecurity.
An initiative by Viettel on telecom network optimization has been nominated for the Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards, often dubbed the “Oscars of the mobile industry."
