Overseas Vietnamese people in Vancouver gathered to make Tet cakes.
Each person is involved in a stage of the cake making process.
Volunteers spent their weekend cooking the cakes. 400 Tet cakes (glutinous rice cakes) were completed in just 3 days.
Ingredients to make the cakes were carefully prepared.
They also make Vietnamese traditional braised fish and other cakes to raise funds.
After just 2 weeks of launching, total proceeds reached 8,680 Canadian dollars. The money will be sent to Vietnam to aid those suffering from historic flooding in Quang Tri province.
