(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam National Authority of Tourism on Wednesday reported that international arrivals to Vietnam in July were 1.56 million, up 6.8% compared to the same month in 2024. So, international arrivals over the past seven months totaled 12.2 million, a 22.5% increase.
Tourists from European countries surged 38% thanks to Vietnam’s relaxed visa policy and promotional tourism campaigns in six countries – France, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany – co-organized by the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Growth in trade and tourism contributed to a 9.3% year-on-year increase in total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the reviewed period.
