Contestants from the Lang Son Children’s House performed 3 songs with ethnic instruments, costumes, and props. Nguyen Thuy Tien said: “Our teacher selected these songs because they reflect unity among ethnic groups. I have tried my best to sing them. I hope to achieve a good result.”
The festival’s judges are well-known artists, who vowed to work hard to ensure a fair contest. VOV Vice President Vu Hai, Head of the Organizing Board, said: “Children across Vietnam have prepared carefully for this year’s Nightingale Melody Contest, which promotes singing and introduces new children’s songs. This is an opportunity for children to show their gratitude to predecessors, the Party, and President Ho Chi Minh.”
The award ceremony will be broadcast live on Thursday night on the Vietnam Journey TV channel and the VOV3 channel.
