In Hanoi, the Hoan Kiem Lake–Turtle Tower Artistic Lighting Space was launched on December 24. The digital exhibition “Radiant Hanoi – Light and Heritage” is taking place at 93 Dinh Tien Hoang street.

Hanoi Countdown 2026 – to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new year with renewed positive energy – will feature performances by top-tier musicians.

In Da Nang city, the highlight of the New Year 2026 celebrations is the on-going “Da Nang – Welcome New Year 2026” Boulevard taking place along Bach Dang pedestrian street. On New Year’s Eve, the “Light up the Han River – Run to the Future” race will be held, along with the countdown art program “Harmony and Shine” at Tam Thanh Beach Square.

The “Hoi An – Welcome New Year 2026” art program will be held at An Hoi Sculpture Garden and the Da Nang Concert 2026 will be held at the Da Nang Museum.

Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said, “We aim to organize a joyful space to welcome the New Year 2026 and open a new year with added values, products, and activities that will help maintain Da Nang’s double-digit tourism growth in 2026.”

Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve at four locations, and sports and entertainment activities will be held at multiple parks, universities, cultural houses, and processing and industrial parks.

Tonight, residents and visitors in Khanh Hoa province can join New Year art celebrations at April 2 Square and April 16 Square, featuring performances by popular DJs and singers like Hieu Thu Hai, Duong Domic, Erik, Orange, and Lam Bao Ngoc.

The program “Khanh Hoa – Welcome New Year 2026,” organized by the provincial Traditional Arts Theater, will run from 8:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., showcasing song and dance performances in praise of the homeland.
