(VOVWORLD) - Quang Ninh province has welcomed more than 19.8 million tourists in 11 months, up 10% year-on-year. Of this, international visitors are estimated at over 4 million. Tourism revenue reached nearly 2 million USD, an increase of 21% compared to the same period in 2024.

Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh has organized over 100 cultural, sports, and tourism events, including Ha Long Carnival, Skywave Mega Music Festival, Ha Long Concert 2025 called "Quang Ninh-Heroic Mining Land", Yen Tu Heritage Run 2025 themed “Touch the Heritage,” the 2025 Expanded Women’s Football Tournament for Ethnic Minorities of Quang Ninh province, and the Ha Long International Heritage Marathon 2025.
Cruise tourism in Quang Ninh is growing as Ha Long International Cruise Port continues to receive large international cruise ships carrying thousands of visitors. As of the end of November, the port had received 54 cruise ships with more than 73,000 international passengers.

In December, Quang Ninh will host a number of events, including the Vietnam–China International Trade and Tourism Fair 2025, a series of activities marking the 717th anniversary of the Nirvana Day of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, the ceremony to receive the UNESCO inscription certificate of the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac Complex as a World Cultural Heritage, the Yen Tu Festival “Heritage Journey-Essence of the World”, the music and experiential festival, and the 2026 New Year Countdown Program.
These activities are expected to enhance the province’s attraction and help achieve its 2025 target of welcoming 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million international arrivals, and generating 2.1 million USD in tourism revenue.
