(VOVWorld)-Vietnam will for the first time honor its 26 most outstanding medical achievements this weekend to mark the anniversary of Vietnam’s Physician’s Day on February 27^th. These are achievements in 11 fields of the healthcare sector including tissue transplant, cardiac intervention, endoscopic surgery, and vaccine production. Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said that Vietnam’s medical achievements have kept pace with those in the regional and international arena and have been able to cure many dangerous diseases. She added that Vietnam’s medical sector has been highly praised by the international community for its policies targeting disadvantaged people.
