[VOVWORLD] - Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra on Monday checked the implementation of the 500-day campaign, focusing on DNA testing and the identification of fallen soldiers’ remains at the Centre for DNA Identification under the Institute of Biology of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

[VOVWORLD] - Samples from more than 13,500 unidentified martyrs’ remains collected in the provinces of Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, and Lam Dong were transported by a military cargo aircraft from Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi for delivery to DNA testing facilities.

[VOVWORLD] - Authorities had recovered the remains of 553 martyrs at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City as of Monday, following two months of search and recovery efforts.

[VOVWORLD] - As part of the 19th Overseas Vietnamese Youth and Young People’s Summer Camp 2026, 50 young overseas Vietnamese visited Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday to pay tribute to fallen heroes and learn about the 500-Day Campaign’s efforts to recover their remains.

[VOVWORLD] - The Ho Chi Minh City Military Command said on Saturday that 52 sets of martyrs’ remains were recovered on Friday and Saturday during search operations at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City.

[VOVWORLD] - Tay Ninh province has completed the collection of DNA samples from martyrs’ remains for identification, the provincial Steering Committee for the Search, Recovery and Identification of Martyrs’ Remains announced on Saturday.

[VOVWORLD] - A special military flight on Friday transported more than 7,000 biological samples collected from the remains of fallen soldiers from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi for DNA testing and identification.
