4,500 voters in Ho Chi Minh City cast early ballots

(VOVWORLD) - More than 4,500 voters serving in the military and the oil and gas sector began casting early ballots on Thursday morning to elect deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026-2031 term.

These voters are casting their ballots at four polling stations located in Phuoc Thang Ward, Tam Thang Ward, and Long Son Commune in Ho Chi Minh City. The city is among the first localities nationwide to organize early voting ahead of the official election day on March 15.

On Wednesday, a municipal delegation inspected election preparations at polling station 4 in Tam Thang Ward, focusing on the compilation and public posting of voter lists, security arrangements, and voting plans for officers and soldiers performing long-term duties at sea.
