The meeting was attended by heads of state and leaders from more than 50 countries, including founding members and observers of the Board of Peace.

In his remarks, President Trump said the Board of Peace is a mechanism to coordinate humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and stabilization efforts in the region in cooperation with the United Nations.

President Trump welcomed Party leader To Lam, calling Vietnam “incredible as a country and as a force,” and said it was a great honor to host him, expressing strong respect for the nation.

Vietnam maintains a consistent stance that all disputes and conflicts must be resolved peacefully, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter. The country is ready to work closely with other members of the Board of Peace in joint efforts to provide urgent humanitarian assistance and rebuild essential infrastructure.

Vietnam supports concrete solutions to end the conflict, restore peace and security, safeguard the livelihoods of the people of Gaza, and advance a comprehensive political process. Vietnam hopes that the measures put in place will ensure the participation of all relevant parties, particularly the Palestinian Authority.

The same day, General Secretary To Lam met with the Presidents of Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, the Prime Ministers of Cambodia, Armenia, Hungary, and Pakistan, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
