The State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese has received a 100 million VND (nearly 5 thousand USD) donation for Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago. The donor was Hoàng Văn Vinh, President of Overseas Vietnamese Community in Russia’s Sverdlovsk province. Mr. Vinh said he is responsible for contributing to his motherland’s development. Previously, Mr. Vinh donated 400 million VND (about 20 thousand USD) to Ha Tinh province to build a fountain.
