He said Iran is now waiting for a US decision, affirming that all key issues had been agreed and the necessary documents had been prepared. Iran wants to achieve a final deal before handing over power to the president-elect, said Rabiei, adding that he believes the next round of talks will be the final one.

Discussions in Vienna began in April to revive the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1 group (the US, the UK, France, China, Russia, and Germany). The agreement included easing sanctions in exchange for restrictions on Iran's nuclear program to ensure Iran will not develop nuclear weapons.
