Two new Google for Startups training programs, AI Bootcamp and Solution Lab, were launched to support 150 local startups in developing cutting-edge AI technologies and developing breakthrough GenAI solutions. Additionally, the Vietnamese language version of the Google AI Essentials course was also introduced to speed up Vietnam’s digital transformation process.
In his address at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung applauded the cooperation between NIC and Google in promoting Vietnam's startup and innovation ecosystem in strategic technology fields, especially AI.
“I propose that big tech firms at home and abroad, research institutes, universities, people of all walks of life, and the business community continue to respond to and implement policies on learning, developing, and applying AI to practically and effectively serve each individual, organization, and the entire economy. Given a young, dynamic, tech-savvy, and innovative workforce, let's join hands and be ready for a journey to become a regional and global AI center,” the Deputy PM said.
The AI-led economy potential in Vietnam is huge, Managing Director of Google Vietnam Marc Woo said, adding Google is committed to providing in-depth training opportunities and accelerating development, helping Vietnamese businesses start up and expand and contributing to making Vietnam a leading AI center in the region.
