(VOVworld) – ASEAN countries have agreed to boost cooperation in cruise tourism in an effort to welcome 4.5 million visitors by 2035.
This is part of a Joint Declaration on Cruise Tourism adopted at the recent 36th ASEAN tourism ministers forum. Singaporean Minister for Trade and Industry S. Iswaran said ASEAN has great potential to develop tourism, especially cruise tourism.

Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, said Vietnam plans to expand its deep-water seaports to accommodate big ships as well as provide specialized products for this kind of tourism.
