At his talks with the visiting Speaker of the House of Representatives of Australia, Bronwyn Bishop in Hanoi on Saturday, the top Vietnamese legislator congratulated the successful election in Australia in which Bronwyn Bishop was elected Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives. The top lawmaker thanked the Government and people of Australia for providing aid for Vietnam’s investment projects which have markedly contributed to pushing up its socio-economic development. On the occasion, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung invited Lower House Speaker Bronwyn Bishop to visit Vietnam for the 132nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU 132) scheduled for Hanoi next year.
