(VOVworld) - Australia's team, Howard and Sons, won the 2015 Danang International Fireworks Competition for its fireworks and musical performance called, "The Symphony of Colors." The team, which was ranked third at the 2009 competition, showcased a spectacular performance and beat Poland's Surex Firma Rodzinna on the closing night to win the first prize on April 29.

Poland's Surex Firma Rodzinna, which had taken part in the competition for the first time, was ranked second. Hosts Danang-Vietnam and the United States' team—Pyrotec-nico—who had performed on the first night, tied for the third prize. Newcomers South Africa was awarded the encouragement prize. The competition attracted teams from South Africa, the United States, Australia, Poland and Viet Nam and approximately 500,000 visitors.
