(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang visited Bac Can province on Wednesday as part of a program to oversee the implementation of socio-economic tasks in the northern mountain provinces. He praised the province’s high economic growth over the last 5 years and asked it to focus more on planning to make forestry its key economic focus.

He asked the province to mobilize social resources for development as well as improve its major transportation routes to increase connectivity with neighbouring economic regions. The President also visited police officers, Thanh Binh industrial park, Sahabak company, and the construction unit of the Thai Nguyen-Bac Can highway.
