US President Barack Obama officially began the second 4 year term from January 20, 2013 until January 20, 2017. Obama, 51 years old, recited the oath of office before the Supreme Court Judge John Robert 11.55 am, 5 minutes before the end of the first term. The symbolic oath was taken in White House in the presence of all members of his family and some close officials. On the same day, Vice President Joe Biden, 70 years old also recited his oath before the Supreme Court Judge Sonia Sotamayor in the Palace of the Vice President in Washington DC. Obama and Bidden’s official oath will take place in the Congress headquarters with 1,600 visitors. According to the US constitution, Obama’s second term swearing- in had to occur before 12 am on January 20 but being Sunday it was rescheduled to January, 21. Obama has to be sworn twice, one symbolic and one official.
