Abrini has acknowledged being the "man in the hat" seen leaving Brussels Zaventem Airport the morning of March 22. Abrini is accused of helping organize the Nov. 13 attacks that killed 130 in Paris with Salah Abdeslam, another Brussels man. But Abrini has denied the charges and blamed two brothers named El Bakraoui, who have been identified as the two suicide bombers at Zaventem Airport and the Maelbeek subway station.

Five other suspects have also been accused of being involved in the Brussels attacks.

Khaled Zerkani has been given a 15-year sentence by a Belgian appeals court for recruiting Islamists, including some of the Paris and Brussels attackers.
