Biden administration extends temporary protected status for immigrants
(VOVWORLD) - The Biden administration has extended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for immigrants from El Salvador, Venezuela, Sudan, and Ukraine for an additional 18 months.

TPS is granted to individuals in the US who cannot return to their home countries due to extraordinary circumstances such as natural disasters or armed conflict.
This extension allows approximately 900,000 immigrants from these countries to remain in the US and continue working.
