Biden clinches his party’s nomination
(VOVWORLD) - US President Joe Biden clinched his party’s nomination on Tuesday, ensuring the first US Presidential election rematch in nearly 70 years.

Mr. Biden needed 1,968 delegates to win the nomination and passed that number with decisive victories in Georgia and Mississippi on Tuesday, followed by Washington state and a likely victory in Hawaii.
According to Edison Research, a company that conducts public opinion polls and collects election results in the US, Biden passed this milestone on Monday night.
