British Prime Minister signs Brexit deal
(VOVWORLD) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen on Friday signed the EU withdrawal agreement, paving the way for the European Parliament to approve this.

Mr. Johnson described the signing as a “fantastic moment” for the country and said it "delivers the result of the 2016 referendum and brings to an end far too many years of argument and division". The European Parliament will meet in Brussels next Wednesday to vote on the Brexit deal. The UK will formally leave the EU next Friday after necessary procedures are completed.
