(VOVworld) – China on Wednesday released its first nuclear white paper, introducing measures to ensure nuclear safety and boost nuclear emergency preparedness.

 
The white paper stated that China has consistently and would continue to give top priority to nuclear safety in its peaceful use of nuclear energy.
The paper said nuclear facilities are operating in stable and safe conditions. The government pledged to raise the ability to handle nuclear emergencies to a new level to support safe, stable, and sustainable nuclear development.
