Chinese President Xi meets with David Cameron
(VOVworld) – President Xi Jinping said during a meeting with visiting British Prime Minister David Cameron in Beijing that China and the UK need to overcome their differences to seek stronger cooperation.

He stressed the importance of the relationship between China and the UK, calling on the two countries to deepen their understanding, and respect for each other, and boost long-term bilateral cooperation. Xi said China hopes the UK will be more active and open in its collaboration with China to create a more accommodating environment. Cameron said that the UK would like to maintain high-level interactions with China and deepen understanding of China, adding that the UK welcomes Chinese investment in infrastructure and nuclear power.
